We offer students homework help, enrichment courses, and summer programs. We meet students' individual needs by tailoring learning plans to address students' unique strengths and areas for growth. Each child receives personalized and targeted support in subjects where they might need a little extra help or where they crave the additional challenge!

About Dr. Atmajian
Dr. Tamar Atmajian brings over a decade of school site and tutoring experience and a wealth of knowledge to her journey as a founder of Apex Academics, Inc. With a fervent belief in the power of relationships, she has championed the cultivation of environments that foster growth, learning, and success in schools. Driven by the principles of fostering positive learning environments and embracing a growth mindset, she places the development of relationships at the forefront of students' academic success.
Dr. Atmajian has committed to a journey of life-long learning. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies; master's degrees in Education and Educational Administration; a multiple subject credential; a single subject credential in English; and an administrative credential. She continues to remain up-to-date with the most recent research by attending local and national conferences, workshops, and a variety of education programs.
She currently serves as a curriculum developer (virtual courses and traditional curricula), course instructor, and program coordinator. Her leadership experiences at Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles County of Education have positioned her as a visionary dedicated to shaping innovative educational practices. Dr. Atmajian's multifaceted roles have solidified her commitment to fostering environments where diversity is celebrated and each student's unique journey is valued and leveraged to support their academic success. Her impact resonates through her dynamic approach, combining a growth mindset with effective communication, creating a lasting influence on educational communities, and promoting excellence in learning.
Dr. Atmajian has the utmost respect and love for the learning process. Her commitment to education continues as she embarks on a journey of providing targeted individual and small group tutoring sessions and workshops for our youth.
Meri Telalyan is a dedicated educator with over a decade of teaching experience. She holds certifications in TESOL/TESL/TEFL and a Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential, as well as a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Education. With a passion for global studies, Meri also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global and International Studies and a Certification in French Language, Literature, and History from the prestigious Université De Paris IV, La Sorbonne.
She has taught within the Glendale Unified School District and has been a valued teacher at Chamlian Armenian School since 2016. Outside the classroom, Meri enjoys spending time with her children, reading, watching films, and traveling the world. She embraces learning both for herself and her students, inspired by the quote, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever.”
